Round Steak And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    2 c. hot water
    5 potatoes, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Cut round steak into cubes and coat with flour.
    Brown in skillet with onion until tender.
    Place into greased casserole. Sprinkle with flour, salt, pepper, thyme and garlic.
    Pour 2 cups hot water over meat and bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Then add sliced potatoes on top.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cook, uncovered, at 450\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
