Homemade Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. small cucumbers (about 10)
    2 c. water
    2 c. distilled white vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. coarse salt
    1 Tbsp. dill
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
    Cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
    Fit cucumbers into two quart jars.
    Pour in enough of vinegar mixture to cover cucumbers. Tighten lid and refrigerate for 1 week to develop flavor.
