Baked Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. raisins
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Boil raisins first and let cool.
    Use 1 cup of raisin water. Cream sugar and butter together.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with raisin water.
    Add cooled raisins. Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
