Pepernota Pizza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Vidalia onions, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 to 3 large red sweet peppers, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in 1 tablespoon olive oil until lightly browned.
    Set aside.
    In another frypan saute peppers, wine vinegar, pepper and salt, if desired, until tender.
    Spread pizza sauce on pizza crust, then onions, then peppers.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 about 8 to 10 minutes for prebaked pizza crust, 25 minutes for fresh pizza dough.
