Ingredients

2 pie shells
3 1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
dash of nutmeg
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 sticks melted butter
2 c. buttermilk
8 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Bake pie shells for 5 minutes; let cool.
Mix all ingredients together well.
Pour into pie shells.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serves 16 to 18.
