Edna Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted cake flour
6 large eggs

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add 2 eggs, one at a time alternately with flour until all ingredients have been mixed. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Bake 50 minutes at 350\u00b0, then increase heat to 400\u00b0 for remaining ten minutes.
Do not open oven during baking time.
Let cool in pan 20 minutes. Turn top side up on plate.
Extra good cake!
