Louisiana Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pork chops (1-inch thick)
    1/2 c. catsup or tomato paste
    1/3 c. sweet white wine
    1/3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    pepper/salt or other seasonings
Preparation
    Brown chops in heavy pan.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Mix wine, water, catsup and brown sugar.
    Pour over chops.
    Cover and bake in moderate 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until chops are well done and liquid is cooked down.
    Lemon slices may be added before baking, if desired.
