Wilma'S Corn Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans creamed corn
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 small jar pimento
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 to 1 c. milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except grated cheese; mix well.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Place this pan in one larger and put about 1 inch of water in outer pan.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top of mixture.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven about 1 hour or until case knife comes out clean.
    This is a very good dish to serve at Christmas.
