Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash, shredded
    2 large onions, chopped
    4 bell peppers, diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1 hot pepper, chopped
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine squash, onion and pepper.
    Sprinkle with salt and let stand 1 hour.
    Bring to a boil sugar, vinegar, celery and mustard seed.
    Add squash, onions and peppers; boil 1 minute.
    Put in sterilized jars.
