Sausage Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork sausage
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
3 Tbsp. flour (all-purpose)
2 (9-inch) deep dish pie shells (uncooked)
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 1/2 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp. sage
Preparation

Cook sausage in skillet until brown and crisp.
Drain fat. Heat 2 tablespoons sausage drippings in skillet and saute onion until tender.
Set aside.
