Baked Chicken Maryland - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or more lb. chicken
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    bread crumbs
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Butter a large casserole dish.
    Wash chicken.
    Mix the flour, salt and pepper; roll chicken in it.
    Dip each piece in the egg, beaten slightly with the 2 tablespoons water.
    Roll each piece in the bread crumbs; place in dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, uncovered, for about 45 minutes, or until tender.
    Baste occasionally with margarine, lemon and 2 tablespoons water.
    Serve alone or with gravy.
