Ingredients

1 1/2 c. fresh coconut
1 pt. milk
3 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Beat whole eggs, gradually adding sugar.
Add milk, salt, vanilla, coconut and nutmeg.
Pour into pastry shell; bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes, or until custard is firm.
