Gingered Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried or fresh figs
    1/3 c. fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
    1/4 c. mild honey
    2 to 3 tsp. minced or grated fresh ginger
    2 pink grapefruit, skins and membranes removed and sectioned
    2 ripe pears, cored and diced
Preparation
    If you are using dried figs, place them in a bowl and pour boiling water over them.
    Let stand 10 minutes, then drain and cut in half lengthwise.
    Cut fresh figs in half lengthwise, unless they are very small.
