Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 c. shortening
    6 eggs, at room temperature
    3 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, margarine and shortening.
    Beat in 6 eggs.
    Add flour, milk, vanilla and lemon juice; beat thoroughly. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Start in cold oven and bake 1 3/4 hours at 350\u00b0 until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
