1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Preparation
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the brown sugar and flour, mixing well. In a large bowl, combine eggs, corn syrups, vanilla, and melted butter. Beat with a fork.
Add the sugar mixture and mix well.
Sprinkle the pecans over the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the filling on top of the pecans. As the pie bakes, the pecans will rise to the top. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, until filling is set and pecans are golden brown.
