Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 1/4 c. cake flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Make a paste of cocoa and food coloring.
Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs.
Combine sifted flour with salt.
Add with buttermilk and vanilla to mixture alternately.
Fold in vinegar and soda.
Pour into three 8-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
