Mary'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
    6 Tbsp. melted butter
    pecan halves (enough to cover tops of 2 baked pies; possibly 2 c. chopped)
    2 pie shells
Preparation
    Beat the eggs and sugar together.
    Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
    Pour mixture into pie shells.
    Cover with pecan halves.
    Bake for 1 1/4 hours at 350\u00b0.
