Diabetic Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    1 can or 2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    2 c. water
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (English walnuts)
    1 (8 oz.) box dates
Preparation
    Cook raisins and dates in water.
    Cook until water is gone. Mix raisins, dates, eggs, applesauce and oil.
    Add nuts and mix rest of ingredients.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan or stem pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
