Oven-Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
Preparation
    Melt butter; stir in corn, syrup, water, brown sugar and salt. Cut potatoes in halves lengthwise.
    Dip in corn syrup mixture, coating all sides.
    Place in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Pour remaining syrup over top.
    Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) until tender and glazed, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Baste occasionally.
