Michael'S Lentil "Stoup" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. dry lentils
    10 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, diced
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 medium sweet potato
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. oregano
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Pressure cook lentils 10 to 15 minutes (1 hour regular cooking).
    Saute vegies in a bit of oil.
    Mix lentils, vegies, garlic and spices.
    Add water to desired thickness.
    Serve warm. Makes 14 to 16 servings.
