1/2 c. lard or butter
1 tsp. soda (heaping)
2 tsp. cocoa
1 c. applesauce (sweetened)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cassia
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. ground raisins
flour to stir quite thick (2 c.)
