Double Chocolate Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate bits
2 eggs
2 oz. chocolate bits
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Melt chocolate
bits
and allow to cool.
Cream butter, sugar and
vanilla until fluffy; add syrup and continue creaming.
Beat in
eggs and chocolate.
Sift flour; sift together dry ingredients.
Stir
into batter.
Fold in chocolate pieces and walnuts.
Spread
in
a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; bake in a
moderate
350\u00b0
oven about 25 minutes.
Cut in bars when cool.
