Fried Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 medium yellow squash
    1 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 egg
    flour
    grease for frying
Preparation
    Slice squash; place in pan with onion, salt, pepper and small amount of grease.
    Smother and cook until almost all the water is cooked out.
    Take off stove and drain as well as possible.
    Add egg and enough flour to make a thick mixture.
    With hands, make small patties and fry in small amount of grease until done.
    If needed, roll patty in small amount of flour, then fry.
