Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. lard
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix and
    sift
    dry
    ingredients;
    sift
    twice.
    Work in lard with
    tips of fingers.
    Add milk gradually.
    Mix in with knife
    to a soft dough.
    It will drop without spreading.
    Drop by
    spoonfuls on buttered pan, 1-inch apart.
    Brush over with milk and brown in hot oven 8 minutes.
