Cajun Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 small onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
6 c. chopped cabbage
1 1/4 c. uncooked long grain rice
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In a large Dutch oven, brown ground beef.
Add onions and green pepper; cook until the onions are transparent.
Add the rice, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, seasonings and cabbage. Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
Yields 10 to 12 servings.
Great casserole to take to a potluck supper!
