Overnight Black-Eyed Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
    1/2 c. sliced red onion
    1/2 clove garlic
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    pepper and hot sauce to taste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and place in refrigerator overnight.
    Can be served on salad greens or in a bowl with Fritos or other dippers for hors d'oeuvres.
