Apple Kuchen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 1/2 c. pared, sliced McIntosh apples (or baking apples of your choice)
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 pt. sour cream
1 egg
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cut butter into cake mix (dry) until crumbly.
Pat mixture lightly into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; build up slight edge.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Have apples ready, mixed with sugar and cinnamon (blend to create juice).
Arrange apple slices on warm crust.
Blend sour cream and egg; drizzle over apples to cover.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0, until edges are light brown.
Do not overbake.
Makes 12 to 15 servings.
