French Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c flour
    1/2 c cocoa
    3/4 tsp soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/3 c butter or oleo
    1 1/3 c sugar
    3 egg whites
    3/4 c water
    1/2 c sour cream
    1 tsp French vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, and salt.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg whites;
    beat 1 minute.
    Combine water, sour cream and vanilla.
    Add alternately with dry ingredients to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
    Blend thoroughly after each addition.
    (With electric mixer use low speed.)
    Pour into well greased and lightly floured (2) 8 in round pans at least 1 1/2 in deep.
    Bake in 350 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool and frost.
