Swamp Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 3/4 lb. bulk breakfast sausage
    1 pkg. Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice mix
    1 can minced mushrooms
    1 can chicken broth
    1/2 medium onion, minced
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Fry out the sausage.
    Cook rice per directions on box.
    Drain excess fat from sausage and set aside.
    In small amount of fat remaining, saute the onions until tender.
    Add flour to onions and stir to moisten, not brown.
    Add chicken broth and juice from the mushrooms to the mixture in the frying pan, stirring constantly until gravy consistency.
    Mix rice, mushrooms, sausage and gravy thoroughly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour in casserole dish.
    May be topped with slivered almonds.
