Peanut Paddies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. red food coloring

Preparation

Cook first 4 ingredients to soft ball (235\u00b0), stirring often. Take off heat and add remaining ingredients.
Beat until candy thickens.
Drop on waxed paper or buttered oven liners.
