Frozen Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (32 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (mixed fruit, strawberry or lemon)
dash of salt
1 c. boiling water
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/3 c. mayonnaise or 2 c. sour cream
1 c. whipping cream
1 medium banana, diced
1/2 c. seeded grapes, halved
1/4 c. diced cherries
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water.
Drain pineapple, measuring syrup (add water to make 1/2 cup).
Stir in gelatin with lemon juice.
Blend in mayonnaise and chill until thick.
Whip cream and fold fruits, nuts and whipped cream into gelatin.
Pour into 2 freezing trays.
Freeze until firm, at least 3 to 4 hours. To serve, slice.
Makes 8 servings.
