Pasta With Vodka And Tomato Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes, chopped
    1 1/2 c. whipping cream
    1/3 c. vodka
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 lb. pasta, dried (preferably penne or rigatoni)
    freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter and oil in pan.
    Add onion and saute until translucent, about 8 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and cook until reduce to almost no liquid remains in pan, about 25 minutes.
    Add cream, vodka and red pepper.
    Boil until thickened, about 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
