Baby Plum Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. Crisco oil
    3 eggs
    2 small jars strained baby plums
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and spices.
    Sift twice.
    Add oil and eggs. Beat with mixer after each.
    Fold in plums, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Cool 15 minutes.
    Top with confectioners sugar (sift on top).
