Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 c. canned applesauce
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar, creaming until light.
    Add eggs, beating well after each.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately to creamed mixture with applesauce.
    Stir in raisins. Pour in greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until done.
