Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 pastry shell (9-inch), baked and cooled
2/3 c. and 3 Tbsp. sugar, divided
1/3 c. and 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, divided
3 eggs, separated
2 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Place confectioners sugar in a bowl.
Cut in the peanut butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
Set aside 2 teaspoons for garnish.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs into a pie shell.
Combine 2/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup cornstarch, egg yolks and milk.
Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens. Remove from the heat; add butter and vanilla, stirring until butter melts.
Pour into pie shell.
