Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. warm coffee
    4 c. apples, peeled and diced
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/3 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar and eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture alternately with coffee. Fold in diced apples and chopped walnuts. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over top. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven 45 to 50 minutes. Test for doneness.
