Barbecue Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    brisket of beef, trimmed of fat
    2 medium, sliced onions
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. ketchup
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat with garlic powder.
    Place onions on top of meat.
    Mix last 4 ingredients together and pour over meat.
    Cover with foil and bake 2 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    To serve, slice thinly against the grain.
