Apricot Mousse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) can unpeeled apricot halves, drained and mashed
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Advance preparation:
    Combine apricots, sugar, vanilla, extract and dash of salt.
    Whip cream until custardlike; fold into apricot mixture.
    Turn into a 3-cup refrigerator tray; freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
    Makes about 3 cups.
