Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil or butter, melted
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. cooked prunes, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Mix sugar and Wesson oil; add eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour and other dry ingredients together.
Add to sugar, Wesson oil and egg mixture.
Add milk and vanilla.
Beat until smooth and add nuts and prunes, mixing well.
Pour in greased pan and bake at 375\u00b0 until done.
Leave in pan and pour icing over while still hot.
