6-Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. tapioca
    2 tsp. salt
    very little pepper
    2 1/2 lb. stew meat
    4 carrots, cut in pieces
    3 potatoes, cut in pieces
    1 can string beans and juice
    5 stalks celery, cut in pieces
    1 large onion, diced
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms and juice
    cabbage (optional)
Preparation
    Stir all ingredients together.
    Cover and bake at 275\u00b0 for 6 hours.
    Do not stir during cooking time.
