Southern Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 bell pepper
1 large onion, sliced thin
1/4 c. uncooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. tomatoes
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation

Brown onion and bell pepper in butter; remove from pan.
Brown ground beef until redness is gone.
Add onion, bell pepper, rice, tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili powder.
Pour into greased dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
