Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. boiling water
3 egg yolks
4 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 c. milk
1/4 c. oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet; cook until it turns a dark brown syrup.
Remove from heat and add boiling water.
Cream eggs, sugar, flour, milk, butter and syrup.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.
Remove from heat; add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with Meringue.
