Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped raw prunes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Mix the first 5 ingredients together.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well and bake in a greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
Start in a 200\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
Increase oven to 300\u00b0 the rest of time.
