Shrimp-Rice Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2/3 c. packaged precooked rice
    1 c. water
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 small onion, minced
    1 c. coarsely grated pared carrots
    1 lb. thawed frozen or fresh large raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    About 1 hour and 15 minutes before serving, in hot oil in skillet over medium heat, cook rice, stirring constantly, until golden.
    Add water, tomatoes, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion and carrots.
    Cook, covered, until carrots are tender.
    Add shrimp.
    Cook 5 minutes or until shrimp are tender.
    Serve, passing cheese.
    Makes 4 servings.
