Shrimp Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. water
3 c. rice
2 lb. shrimp, cleaned
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/4 c. cooking oil
salt and pepper
Preparation

Add onions to 1/4 cup of cooking oil and cook until dark golden brown. Add shrimp to onions and saut. Add well washed rice with water; salt rice to taste. Bring to a boil until almost all the water has evaporated. Stir mixture well. Cover on real low fire until cooked, about 20 minutes.
