Ratitos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) jar jalapeno (whole with stems)
    1 pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. flour, divided
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Slit each pepper on the side and remove seeds, leaving stem in place.
