Jefferson Davis Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbaked (9-inch) pie crusts
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. cream
    1 Tbsp. flour
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add butter and beat until well blended. Add cream, eggs and vanilla and blend until smooth.
    Pour into 2 unbaked 9-inch pie crusts.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then lower temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake 45 to 50 minutes.
    Makes 2 pies.
