Smoky Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (12 sausages) heat and serve smoke flavor link sausages
    1 can (8 rolls) refrigerated crescent rolls
    barbecue sauce or prepared mustard (for dipping, optional)
Preparation
    Cut sausage links in half so you have 24 short
    links.
    Unroll crescent roll dough and spread it out flat. Cut the 8 triangles lengthwise into 3 triangles each. This will give you 24 long, thin triangles of dough. Starting at the wide end of each dough triangle, place a short sausage link on dough; roll up. Repeat. Place rolls on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve warm with barbecue sauce or mustard for dipping, if desired.
