Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless chicken
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 c. green pepper strips
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Preparation
    Cut chicken into strips, brown lightly with onions and garlic in oil.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasoning and green peppers. Bring to a full boil.
    Stir in rice and remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Stir before serving.
    Makes 4 servings.
