Top Of The Stove Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped beef
    1 egg
    3 slices white bread, soaked in water and squeezed
    1 Tbsp. grated cheese
    fresh parsley chopped
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and shape into a loaf.
    Brown loaf on all sides in a large frypan in oil.
    Add onion and saute until lightly browned.
    Add water, cover and let simmer 1 hour or until tender. Remove loaf and make gravy from drippings.
